| The most difficult class is probably AP Lit. In our AP Literature class, no one gets an A, and very few manage a B. One kid might get that A this year, and he would be the first in quite a few years. The teacher is harsh, and most kids received at least three D's this year on major papers. The average (and mode) grade is a low C-. As for the test though, this teacher has a pretty good pass rate (last year and before was something like 75%). She teaches AP Language and Composition and well, so the situation (and pass rate) is pretty similar. People who care about their GPA tend to stay far from here.
AP Biology is considered "difficult" because all the teacher does is assign busy work, and he rarely tells us when things are do. He's new to teaching AP though and is still figuring things out.
As for the test, I would say AP Spanish Language is the most difficult because very few people actually pass the test. Admittedly, few take it, but I would say our school has about a 10% pass rate for that test. APUSH has a low pass rate as well, but that's because nearly 60 kids take when only about 20 should. Can't make someone pass who doesn't want to. |
