I'm rooming with my friend and we put down:

1) Porter
2) Cowell
3) Merrill
etc.

I only put down Merrill since my friend kinda liked it, though we both agreed on Porter and Cowell over it. But we both got placed in Merrill - and I absolutely HATE Merrill.

Is there any way I can appeal this? I heard that there's some sort of appeal process to change colleges or something.
