I'm not sure that makes any difference--at least I've never seen any formal acknowledgment that it does. If you were a BIG donor (hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars), on the other hand, that might make a difference--children of such donors are euphemistically called "developmental admits" in the college admissions biz:
