To calculate your predicted score plug in the equation in your calculator and use the trace function.

Where x = number correct on MC
y = points earned on FRQ

y = -0.75x + 72.333 <-- for a 5
y = -0.75x + 59 <-- for a 4
y = -0.75x + 47 <-- for a 3

this is simplified from:
.9[x - 0.25(100-x)] + 1.5y = 86 <-- for a 5
.9[x - 0.25(100-x)] + 1.5y = 66 <-- for a 4
.9[x - 0.25(100-x)] + 1.5y = 48 <-- for a 3

Assuming that you didn't skip any questions, answered all.

This is a general guideline because the 5,4,3, cutoffs vary each year.

I'm using what the my Sparknotes book says: 86 for 5, 66 for 4, 48 for 3.

This is also on the 150 point system, but I think they changed it this year.

Credits to me, I came up with this formula. Hehe

I also have one for calculus and other tests, but I'll let others post.
