| Yes, K9Leader, you are correct. We only have unsubsidized Stafford loans. And yes, as a Virginia taxpayer, I am thrilled to open up opportunities for low income students. However, it is the middle income students at UVa and William and Mary ,etc. that do not
seem to get breaks. My son in 2005 would have been comepetitive at elite privates . He did ED at UVa and has loved it .At the
time it seemed best as a good fit, financially, socially and academically. However, now that there is no ED,he may have applied elsewhere
to see what financial help he could have gotten. Globalist, I know you love your school but the financial end of things these days is very important to most families. |
