College Discussion - View Single Post - Which school is more prestigious? Stanford or Columbia?

I'm from a major east coast city, and I would say that, in my experience, most people think that Stanford is more prestigious Columbia. I mean, Columbia is thought of as a good school, but most people put Stanford on a whole other level (w/ MIT, Harvard, Yale, Princeton).
