Kowloon, I think so too. I feel like cram-reviewing can be very beneficial, especially if you've had enough sleep that you're not zoned out, because what it does is turn the lights back on after they've been off for a while. It also keeps the stuff fresh in your head.

Cram-learning, however, is like trying to install the lights, circuitry and all.
