Use the last curve as a "slingshot" into the final straight (start accelerating at the last 5m of the curve, into the straight). Dying would feel better than the pain you'll feel on that straight, but at least you'll come closer to winning.
Don't forget to pace yourself. Notice how the top few are always running together? Running even 10m ahead of the pack would tire you much quicker. Save your energy for accelerating at the end. |
