| I am sure that the makeup of stuidents varies each year, and this year's numbers may not be the same as next years. Since there are more girls than guys at FSU, the dorm population seems to reflect this as well. I recall in Gilchrist, for instance, there were 5 floors, 3 women and 2 men. At Cawthon, there are two LLCs: Music, and Women in Science and Engineering, so that tips the balance even further toward women. The dorm only holds about 300, so the LLC's might take up most or all of the hall. My guess is that housing probably fills up whatever spaces the LLC's don't fill with random students interested in Cawthon. Is you son interested in music? |
