| Think about where Obama was last winter - way behind in the polls, "too inexperienced", little support from African-American voters. He's shown a remarkable capacity to get voters to take a new look at him and rethink their positions. I don't believe that he feels he has to accept a VP he doesn't want in order to appeal to constituencies that don't support him at present. There are five months between June and November; the man has shown that he can change a lot of minds in five months. |
