totally off topic, but I got a better story. A neighbor kid graduated Stanford and was accepted to Stanford Law, wait listed at Yale and Harvard. While he was driving back north to Palo Alto on a fall Saturday, Harvard called and said classes start Monday if you want it. He jumped the first plane to Boston and had to buy a set of clothes until his folks could retrieve his car at SFO and ship his stuff east.
