Here is another spin on LU / conservatory...

Lawerence University WI

gahd! I sure wished we know that LU was Duke in the music world during the discovery stage.+ If that analogy is even a bit true, it was dishonest for LU admin to suggest the realistic possibility of playing violin in the LSO. While anyone can try out for Duke's basketball team, street level common sense says your odds are not good unless you have thus and such credentials.

+discovery never stops. I guess that is why god made transfer students.
