| I live in Mpls, have spent a lot of time on the East and West Bank where the campus is located, etc. The U is in a safe part of the city called Dinkytown. It's almost all U students there. I wouldn't have any particular safety concerns... yes, robbery happens, yes, sexual assault happens... but it's almost inevitable in a big city/big campus. Minneapolis has its neighborhoods but is safe overall. |
