First and foremost I think it depends on your area of academic interest. On a general note, Case Western Reserve is considered to be top-tier in many popular academic fields (e.g., business, medicine, engineering and law). Although students sometimes complain about difficult classes, I’ve heard nothing but great things about Case’s campus, faculty and social environment. To be sure, Tulane is a very good institution, but apples to apples I think that Case Western Reserve is the better choice.
