| Ooo CAS. I've seen some people with 1800s get in, but when your grades and stuff are a little on the down side, your essay has to be really good. Like tearjerker good, lol. My grades aren't all that spectacular either, but I'm applying to Tisch Film, so half my admissions is based on the short film I sent along, so I have a lot riding on my film.
If your a unrepresented minority (URM)? Cause that's a lot of bonus points right there too. Like two spanish girls and one black girl got into CAS this year from my school, out of the 1000+ seniors. None of the Asians got into CAS this year from my school, where we asians are like 40% lol. Two got GSP-ed but both decided to go Macaulay Honors instead and the saludictorian got into Stern but he's going to Harvard so yeah. :P First person to do so from my school in 7 years lol. |
