| My son went to the Stanford ID Tech camp for a couple of summers. He loved the camps, but they were pretty relaxed (= just a bit disorganized). For some kids (and parents) that's ok, but those who like more structure might be disappointed. They're also very expensive.
An alternative is Cybercamps. They have a counselor in training program and hire older high school kids as counselors. My son went there for a couple of weeks during the same summers as ID Tech, and then went one more summer to be a CIT. |
