| As I understand it, colleges get to claim a 100% yield for waitlisted acceptees, although waitlisted acceptees do raise the acceptance rate. So in the case of H, its acceptance rate goes up (to 7.8%, I think I read recently) as a result of admitting 200 off the waitlist, but so does its yield. |
