College Discussion - View Single Post - Vandy: Nationally or Regionally Recognized?

Howdy yall!!

Im an upcoming senior who is in the middle of his college search. I live in the Northeast, so I am wondering whether Vanderbilt is recognized only in the South, or if it is recognized nationally.

For instance two of the other schools I am looking at are Notre Dame and Villanova. I know that ND is nationally recognized. & I know that Villanova is really only recognized in the Northeast. How well is Vanderbilt recognized if I were to apply for a job in the Northeast with a degree from Vandy?
