| Vanderbilt's reputation is definitely on the rise nationally. In the South it already has an amazing reputation. When I went down to Nashville to visit, and decided to attend, I was talking to some guy from Atlanta that was staying in the same hotel as me. When I told him I was going to Vanderbilt, he practically flipped out. He was like rigorously shaking my hand and saying how amazing it was.
This would never happen anywhere in the Northeast. However, has someone said, the educated/intellectual community respects Vanderbilt. Some people even in the Northeast, such as my math teacher and middle school teacher, appreciate Vanderbilt, but not enough people actually do, unfortunately. |
