| The Chem major offered through L&S will give you a BA degree, so you'll be taking more humanities-related courses alongside your science courses. The BS Chemistry program offered through the College of Chemistry would be your typical heavy-duty science degree. If you're pre-pharm, the BA might give you a better chance of getting a higher GPA. Obviously the BS would be more appropriate if you want to be a career chemist. |
