| Why won't my TV turn on? The "Power/Timer" light just flashes.
Several months ago, my '90s Samsung TV (which is connected to a cable box) started becoming cantankerous, sometimes powering on and sometimes not. When it wouldn't come on, a small light on the front of the TV labeled "Power/Timer" would just flash and make a clicking sound. Now, it never turns on - it's always flashing "Power/Timer" when I try to power it on. If I press the power button a second time, the Power/Timer light turns off. There are no other apparent controls on the unit other than channel and volume. Does anyone know what's going on? |
