clearly you do not know much about rap so I'm confused as to why you posted here. did you not read the lyrics i just posed? Tie my Hands - Lil wayne... full of personal impressions, politics, and a universal issue. Hell, that came from Lil wayne of all rappers.
anyways, my rebuttal.
Superficial35...Best Songs:
i'm glad you think that song is motivational and inspirational. well you know what... rap can be too. and although this is my own opinion, there are innumerable rap songs more influential and inspirational than middle by jimmy eat world.
don't post here if you're going to generalize rap because you heard 50 cent on the radio. anyone can easily diss any kind of music genre. you can diss rock for unoriginal power chords, or ear-pounding heavy metal songs. truth is... although you may not have a penchant for such genres of music, there is always something behind the lyrics, the beat, the guitars, the drums, the saxophone et cetera.
don't generalize. rap isn't the same as it used to be, but the meaning, deliverance, the lyrics, the beats are still there. i'll admit... lil wayne probably isn't the best example, but he's entertainment, exciting, and can get you pumped up. it's all subjective preference.
please, let us not generalize.
Wake up. Good Morning.
