they just play stuff, and have you write it out. it's nothing like super technical like AP music theory. it's just simple one-note dictation. like i remember the first page was just writing out scales. then writing out triads. then it was dictating triads (played each note separately), then dictating rhythmn. it's all just basic stuff, as long as you are relatively advanced in playing an instrument, there's not reason why you shouldn't get a perfect score. |
