you can make your own major i think, but as far as being a doctor, technical majors help, but technically as long as you take all of the required premed classes and do well, and do well on your mcats, you should be good

it doesn't matter what you major in, but they want to see that you've worked in a lab, and if you get independent research done there that would be good. that shouldn't be too hard if you're a biology/neuroscience/physics/whatever major
mhs isn't really technical so i don't know how easy/hard it would be to get a job
