I would also recommend taking a look at the live webcam link on the homepage Carroll College - Helena, Montana -- Welcome. It shows that even though it gets chilly it is far from bleak on those winter days as the sun is shining most days even in the winter.

Also wanted to add that the human/animal bond program is the only one like it in the nation and directed by a UCD alum. The students enroll in either the equine or canine focus of the program. The K9 focused group raises a service dog from puppyhood. That has become a yardstick of sorts for my D who greets college spam w/ a jaded eye and a "Yeah, but do they give me a puppy?"
