- Other stats (Awards, etc.):
- ECs listed on app: Class Representative (one of only 4 in class), Poetry, Captain of Baseball team (won league)
- Job/Work Experience: Work at my farm, but only during the summers, and not too much, so i doubt this really helped
- Essays (subject and responses): AMAZING. Wrote about how I feel like the animals i live with on my farm are people...hard to explain, but it was really good, my teachers said it was one of the best this year
- Teacher Recs: incredible, especially since i was one of the top three in the class
- Counselor Rec: Don't have a counselor at our school...
- Interview (feel, interviewer and general location): Ehh, this could have been a weak point. I felt really awkward and clammy. I perspired a lot and mumbled too much. This isn't the strongest part of my application

- Weaknesses: Not enough extra-curriculars
- Why you think you were accepted/deferred/denied: I think they noticed that i've overcome struggles in order to achieve greatness, and therefore accepted me. I'm also a very good writer.
General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations,etc: Very surprised I got in early, but happy. Definitely feel like I will thrive at MIT. I'll be on this forum throughout today so feel free to shoot me (no pun intended!) some questions about how to get in.
