When we visited Pitt, it waived the fee if you applied in person during the visit.
I also think this list is very helpful! Thank you! The list has a lot of good schools on it.
The cost of SATs and transcripts plus the Guidance Office requirements makes it obvious that no one is going to apply to a school only because the app was free. I also think it's obvious that no one is going to go to a school JUST because the application was free, or that someone might not apply to their first choice because of an application fee.
At least two of the schools on this list were on my kid's list already. I don't know if she would have picked up on the free fee on-line, so thanks again to the OP.
