I have said for four years that the US was going to fall like Rome.
There isn't a question that we are in for some very rough times. But there is a lot of hyperbole and hysteria in that article. I don't know that moving all your money overseas is a great idea for many reasons, not the least of which is no federal protection at all. People may distrust the FDIC, but there is some protection, which doesn't exist at many offshore locations.
Realistically, though, both McCain and Obama are way over their heads with relation to the economic catastrophe in this country. We are in way deeper than either one can deal with, based on both of their current positions.
