As I wrote, I am a former faculty member of University of Michigan but was never in Admissions. I posted stats for a student whose essays I am reading. I am a professional writer and journal editor with a child who will apply to college next year; thus my interest in this website. I am happy to critique the occasional essay, but, believe me, I am not applying to college and I am not interested in stealing essay material. (I have too much of my own already!) Debski
