miltonmom, are you familiar with the concept of freedom of expression? Or is that also something you do not approve of? The television networks are under no obligation to represent "mainstream America," whatever you may think that is. "Family Hour" isn't in effect any longer. When you disapprove of something, why not make use of that handy little on/off switch?
Are you worried about your own teens watching "Grey's Anatomy"? I imagine you haven't hesitated to communicate your values to them over their lifetimes. If they accept what you've taught them, what's your problem? And if they don't, I hardly think that a lesbian storyline on "Grey's" is to blame. Please don't worry about what my teens see on television - I"m not looking for assistance in that area.
You are well within your rights, of course, to object to programming you consider "not OK." Bear in mind, though, that some mainstream Americans (I'm one) object to intolerance and narrow-mindedness, and find anti-gay bigotry "not OK."
