I read the original post and my heart hurt.
Over the past five pages, my heart has grown warmer again.
God loves everyone, miltonmom, and He teaches us to love everyone. Even if you do believe that homosexuality is a sin (and I don't believe that it is), it is not our prerogative as humans to act with hate towards what we think is wrong. Live your definition of a righteous and sober life, but do not act with hate. You'll help this world far more with your love than you will with attacks and condemnation.
I do agree with you about TV having become far too graphic, though. Whatever happened to the Cosby Show? =(
