First of all, I'm a straight, married 45 year old female. I was raised by a catholic mother and a orphaned methodist-raised bigot father (kind of like Archie Bunker). I do not practice any type of organized religion, but I am somewhat spiritual in my own way.
I'm sure it's been said here somewhere, but I really can't read through this entire thread again to find it without ranting and giving myself a headache over what some people believe to be the "truth".
I firmly believe if you're GLBT, you were BORN that way. You didn't get it from television, radio, movies, another GLBT being dropped on your head, etc. It's not like being born brunette, deciding you don't like it, and dying your hair blonde.
Like someone else say in another post, I don't think anyone would choose this lifestyle considering what kind of insane c*r*a*p they'd have to take for making that choice.
I put people who have issues with GLBT in the same general category as people who don't like animals, they scare me.
