After spending the first two months of the season ranked in the top three, Colorado College dropped Monday in both national polls.
The Tigers, who host Minnesota-Duluth this weekend, are ranked sixth in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll and fifth in the USCHO.com poll.
The Tigers have lost four Friday games in a row, only to rebound on Saturday each time, a pattern they hope to change this weekend.
Air Force, which snapped a 25-game losing streak to CC last Friday, is ranked in the top 10 for the first time in academy history.
The Falcons (13-1) suffered their first loss of the season Saturday to No. 7 Denver and will play host to Rochester Institute of Technology this weekend in their last series before holiday break.
