Hi everyone! I will visit bard on Jan.5, depart from NYC area.
The problem is I dont have a car!
Bard website suggests students to take Amtrak to Rhinecliff Station, then take a taxi from the station to bard. (the whole duration would be almost 2 hrs.) Since I scheduled to reach bard in the morning, the peak price of Amtrak is not really cheap even though I have student advantage card. Also I could take metro north rail to Poughkeepsie, then take a taxi to bard. Although metro north is relatively cheap, but Poughkeepsie is far away from bard, it'll take about 40 minutes to get there by taxi.
Is there any better way I can get to Bard? Thank you all in advance!
