Essays: I really put myself into them, as in I felt like I exhausted the depths of my introspection. I put some humor in the first one, talked about my ACL injury. And I talked about my goal to read a list of 1000 books in the second one.
Teacher Recommendation: outstanding, I thought this was the strongest part of my application.
Counselor Rec: good, we talk every few days so she really knows me.
Interview: on-campus with a girl who went to nj gov school for science too. I think I expressed my enthusiasm for yale; I sort of teared up during it. But it was only half an hour and I forgot to talk about a lot of my ECs, I only mentioned one, oops. Too nervous, I guess. All in all, I thought it was okay, not great but not terrible.
