Bean sprouts follow around a cadet (last semester it was a 3/c, I think 4/c this semester) for 24 hours. She'll do everything the cadet does...wake up, go to class, go to trainings, go to sports practice, etc. She should have a chance to meet with the coach/team. The reason for sleeping bags is presumably because we were all issued sheets and comforters and it can get kind of cold here at night.
