If you need to break-in boots quickly, here's a way that works, seems odd and causes all sorts of contrary opinions. This can be done with any type of leather boot. Take both boots and soak them in a bucket of warm water until completely soaked through. Take them out, dry them with a towel, then put them on and wear them until they dry. If you don't have the luxury of time for a typical break-in, this method works as it molds the boot to your foot. It is essentially speeding up the normal process of heat/sweat from walking/hiking.
