Sounds like a plan the worst is that you'll have a decision, either way and/or an explanation as to merit of continuing to wait or otherwise. And as many have said, don't be discouraged if your answer is a "no." USNA has begun a much more aggressive targeting effort in its effort to diversify the appointment pool, notably in NASS which is of course, one of THE key interest-generating and recruitment tools.
