Next Up, Residential College Time!

Dudes!

Congrats to all of you that got accepted! In the coming weeks, you'll probably be getting into a bunch of other colleges as well, but as a current Yale student myself, I can tell you that Yale has been pretty much the greatest thing to ever happen to me. I mean, of course, the classes and professors and facilities are really great, but what I think really sets Yale apart from any other university is how happy and nice the student body is. I still can't believe it, but I have yet to meet anyone at Yale that I would classify as a "jerk." It's great, you come to Yale not sure what to expect, but then you look around and everybody is just... normal! Well, of course, everyone is pretty interested in their academic stuff and most people have one or two things that they're really passionate about, but you would be hard pressed to try to fit people into some sort of "Yale" stereotype. So yeah, I strongly encourage you guys to all come up on Bulldog Days and check it out. Even if you get into... that other school, think really hard about turning down Yale. Personally, I was accepted by Yale, Princeton, Harvard, Stanford, MIT, and Brown PLME and chose to come to Yale because I think it's the best school in the nation for undergrads (and I'm mostly sane!), so yeah... it's a tough decision because there are a lot of great schools out there, but I think Yale is absolutely one-of-a-kind.

AND the residential college system is amazing. If you get to choose which college you're in, definitely go for TIMOTHY DWIGHT!!! Ashe! You can get a feel for what student life is like at Yale by checking out the Timothy Dwight Blog: Timothy Dwight -leave us a comment to let us know you're coming! We expect to see all you guys on Bulldog Days!

Congrats dudes, and rock on!
