Essays (subject and responses): Common App essay on calling my relatives in Beijing on Christmas morning. Sort of stream-of-consciousness with embedded song lyrics. Brown supplement essay on studying AP World History in small student-led groups. I think both were a lot better in style than in substance.
Teacher Recs: Good? One was from the WHAP teacher whose class I wrote about.
Counselor Rec: Good but generic? She doesn't really know me, except as the valedictorian and the token minority among the NMFs.
Hook (if any, such as RSI or URM): TASP? Maybe geography.
