Hey Islandfairy--
You have a lot of experience on me! I'm a freshman in college, haven't done too much. I spent all of this semester doing a service project in my engineering class where we work in teams of four for a real client and basically do the job of an engineer (except for free, har har). Also, (this is mostly applicable to the Office of the First Lady, since it's a lot of programming stuff) I was a leader in a ~20 person student planning committee that spent all 4 years of HS planning a national conference in DC (I'm from the area) for 350 students of our consortium (NCSSSMST, google if you want to know more). We had pretty hardcore events like a panel on climate change in the capitol building and stuff.
I'm also an advocacy senator for my dorm so I bring up and resolve advocacy issues in my dorm and around campus.
Uh, so it's pretty vanilla stuff mostly. I also had a job last summer working as an administrative assistant (read: office staff) at a doctors office.
Wow that was a lengthy response. sorry.
I agree with prophet, :/ I just want to hear back tomorrow! Problematic: Finals next week, so the news screws me over either way. I'm really happy & don't study, or I'm depressd & don't study
