Subjective- Essays: don't know how to describe, but I really think they were well done, represented me well, and showed my match for the school
- Teacher Recs: one was great about risk taking, one not read
- Counselor Rec: I'm sure it was great
- Supplementary Material: TWO extra recs (one was short) from a teacher and a comm service supervisor
- Hook(recruited athlete, legacy, Nobel Prize): absolutely nothing

it was all about the subjective, and my personality which I really worked HARD to convey. I definitely went all or nothing on this. I went out of the way to visit multiple times, contact admissions officers, and convey a genuine interest. MIT was undoubtedly my first choice. I am SO EXCITED! Thank you so much to everyone on this site for your support and the tremendous resource this has been. I genuinely wish the deferred the best of luck possible.
