A number of Catholic colleges do give scholarships for kids graduating from Catholic schools. The rules vary from college to college, however. Sometimes it's is only if you are from the archdiocese, others can be any catholic school.

I know that I have seen Catholic University announcements of a nice scholarship from various areas. You have to be referred by your parish.

I did not see much at all for Holy Cross. That was one of the few schools that did not offer my son a dime. Nor did anyone else from this area get any merit money and some very heavy hitters ended up there. I know they do have a Classics scholarship, math/science scholarship, premed scholarship, but overall there are few kids getting merit money. On the other hand, Duquesne gives out a lot of scholarship money. You do have to research each school.
