No safeties? It sounds like she wants you at a top school for her own personal reasons, not yours.

Being URM, especially with a 3.4, does not make it easy for you to get into top schools. Applying to a ton of top schools doesn't increase your chances of getting into one.

I'd sit down and have a serious talk with her. Show her how difficult it is to get into top schools. Also, let her know that it's YOUR admissions process, not hers. Go where you think you'll be happy, not where she wants you to be.
