I think the reason that many of us are going onto another topic is: so what? Now we know that they are. Probably. That is bad. I certainly disapprove. But there is nothing I can do about it, and not even a particularly interesting discussion to be had. It just confirms my general belief that rankings are pretty useless, and too easily manipulated. I'm not really sure where else this conversation can go...
