studiomom: they're posted online. If you log in to the ResEd housing form and scroll down, there's a building and room number listed. Clicking on the room number shows you what kind of room it is and who else is living there. OSCA also sends out letters, which take longer but should arrive by the end of June.
Plainsman: It's interesting, because while people on CC focus on LACs vs. universities, people at my high school were more focused on local vs. out-of-state - in particular, out of New England. No one was confused about why I'd go to an LAC, even one they hadn't heard of. They
did wonder why I'd go so far away. So, I didn't get asked "why an LAC?" or "why Oberlin?" ... more like "why were you looking at schools in Ohio?" (A friend of mine who went to Stanford got similar reactions: "Wow, that's really far away...") No one seemed too concerned about the school's actual reputation, just the distance.
