Yes. You need to love where you spend your college years. It needs to be a good fit for you. It seems from your post you are more interested in the look & feel of TCU and the good football team is a bonus for you. If money is no object then why not go to TCU where it is much easier - a big bonus for your GPA and possible Law School future. Everything you have stated has you as a happy Horned Frog.
Aggies are a proud bunch, and the old saying is - Highway 6 runs both ways. If you are not sold on A&M, take it where you will be happy.
