Thanks, this is really helpful! Like I said, I'm not used to being around other gay people, so I just wanted to get an idea of how it works, you know? My high school doesn't even have a GSA, and even if it did I think most people would be too afraid to join it.
The thing about my major was that I don't want to be known as "the gay tenor" or anything wherever I end up at school, so that's a relief.
