There are many other opportunities, national/regional firms, gov't, etc.

don't quote me on this because I don't have much knowledge of the accounting industry, but isn't it true that if you don't get into the Big 4, it's much harder to get the top jobs like CFO and whatnot? I was just looking at jobs, and many of the upper level management positions require previous Big 4 experience.
Plus, don't private sector jobs pay less/limit you comapred the the public sector?
