that person was me, and you completely misread my post, I never said you cannot make great friends during orientation or days on campus, I said if you do end up being great friends down the road, it's not because of orientation or days on campus. You could have met 3 months later and still be where you are today. Of all the people you meet during days on campus and orientation, some are, by chance, definitely going to stay your great friends.
